Considered to be Modeled on iPad, Samsung Change Galaxy Tab 10.1 Design

Samsung chose to change the design, the naming of the brand to launch the tablet Galaxy Tab 10.1. It was done as an attempt to avoid being considered imitating tabet and Apple, the iPad.

Samsung Galaxy turned it into a Galaxy Tab 10.1N to be launched in Germany. On the design side, South Korea it's vendor and convert it to a metal material surface to cover all edges of the tablet. Design changes, to name a new Galaxy Tab 10.1 is also done because the Court of Germany decided to stop selling the tablets since September 2011 because Apple party which won the case.

"I am not saying that this product design changes will clarify the violations of patents owned by Apple. It is up to the Court are decided, "says Florian Mueller, reporter FOSS patent, AppleInsider, was quoted as saying Wednesday (16/11/2011).

However, Mueller added that Samsung may have successfully proved that the products Apple iPhone 4S has broken at least one of the 3 g patent rights owned by Samsung.

In addition, the Court has ruled that Germany there are two patents owned by Samsung that is considered valid. So it could be the reason for Samsung to ban some Apple products. But Samsung own nor could love-love first because there are still discussions with the court party which will be conducted on 20 and 27 January 2012.


Germany is now a State vital to both vendors due to violation of its products. Last week, Samsung filed a complaint for infringement done Apple.

Previously, Apple also has won a case over which prohibits cribbing Galaxy Tab 10.1 products in Australia and Germany.
